Both of his maternal grandparents where imported from the prestigious Interagro ranch in Bazil, who today are the world’s largest breeder of Luzitanos. On his sire, his grand sire "Halconero" is ( 98% Veiga blood lines ) to quote from the "Lusitano Heritage" site; "Veiga horses are known to be very brave, sensitive, agile, and quick, better suited for bullfighting, which they were originally bred for. Both parents are IALHA Registered & she is registerable in the IALHA as a partblood , the paperwork has been started. "Flicka" is a very friendly & inquisitive baby as all of her mother’s babies have been. She shows lovely bone with good muscling and is sure to grow up to be beautifully balanced horse that could go any direction. She was born a beautiful buffy gold, but is shedding out a darker color & looks like she will mature out to be a rare chocolate dappled palomino. |

"Toria" 2022 Buckskin 3/4 Lusitano filly (Sold. has gone to Illinois!) Sired by Notorio de Halconero, and out of Steel Magnolia (palomino IALHA reg, mare sired by Sapphiro and out of an Arab mare.) Both parents are IALHA Registered & she is registerable in the IALHA as a partblood , the paperwork has been started. This girl has terrific golden color, a georgous head, strong feet and legs, and shows a lot of elasticity in her reachy movement. Very bold and forward in her attitude, she should grow into plenty of mount for any ambitious rider of decerning tastes! |

"Fuego" ~ 2020 Lusitano/ AQHA ~ SOLD 13.3 hh at 1 year old. Well built and athletic, loves attention. By pure black Lusitano sire and out of foundation bred blue roan AQHA mare! He has cow working horses on both sides and should have a lot of ability. Fuego has gone to his new home in California: “...gosh is he smart! I think I've had a total of 5 clicker sessions with him over the last two months, and he 100% already knows how to learn with a clicker and associate the click to the behavior, though he was a major treat monster that very first session, all shark! He figured out how to take treats respectfully with only his lips by session 3!" |
