Rita 2020 Black 3/4 Lusitano filly

Sired by Notorio de Halconero she is 3/4 Lusitano 1/4 Quarter Horse. 13.23/8 hh at 1 yr. old.

"She is settled into the herd, loves her stall and is growing I think. Her late summer coat change is darker and she is quite dappled and beautiful at this time....Two farriers have been in the barn and both complimented you on her feet and your attention."

"I purchased “Rita” aka Rita dos Açores from Double K Ranch last August as a yearling. My experience with the Double K folks was just fine. I was able to ride Rita’s grandmother and see her mother while we ponied Rita. Mr Roy Kaiser was kind enough to do a little work in the round pen with her and the sire. This gave me a great opportunity to see her with clear view of confirmation and personality traits important when picking a youngster. All of this was not rushed and all questions were answered.
Intangibles in the purchase showed up later. Mr Philip Osborne hauled her from Missouri to Western North Carolina . He was very complimentary of her ground manners and patience in trailering He unloaded and loaded her multiple times with no fuss at all. Two farriers have seen her while at my barn. Both were impressed with the quality of foot care she received as a baby and deportment in handling.
